Product: WaitSpin (waitspin.com).

Supply side: developers opt into a small sponsor line in supported AI-agent wait/status surfaces.

Demand side: dev-tool advertisers buy prepaid impression blocks to appear in those moments.

The narrow thesis is that AI coding tools created a new repeated attention slot: the time when a developer is waiting for an agent to think, edit, run, or finish.

Current support includes VS Code, Cursor Editor Mode, Devin Desktop, Claude Code, Antigravity CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, MiMo Code, OpenCode, Grok Code CLI, etc.

The honest risk: advertiser demand may be uneven early, so I am avoiding guaranteed-earnings language. Users keep the 60% baseline share of billed impressions when there is paid delivery.

For founders who have built marketplaces: does this sound like a viable wedge, or does the "ads in dev tools" objection kill it before the marketplace can learn?
